At the World Faire, there was an abundance of new innovations and creations in all spheres of interest, ranging from technologically advanced inventions to astounding pieces of art. The Faire fulfilled its purpose in enlightening its audience about the new world they live in and inspiring generational change.
Looking first to the tangible technology present in the exhibits, there were so many inventions that surprised me in their ability to even function. Alexander Graham Bell's Multiple Telegraph's potential to improve communication gives way to an era of new inventions involving or relating to building a better future. Its ability and design allows other investors to replicate Bell's success and build on this great progress. Additionally, Robert William Bunsen's new burning and combustion device, The Bunsen Burner, will expand our knowledge of chemistry and allow us to isolate chemicals in experiment. Items like the blue jeans and the sweet and refreshing Coca-Cola will give way to a more comfortable lifestyle. Most importantly, however, the exhibit on the electric lightbulb both literally and figuratively opened my eyes to the infinite possibilities we can have when we utilize the power of electricity. Thomas Edison's incandescent light bulb made with carbon filament will help us light the days and years to come.
On the other hand, the art and designs present at the fair were also beyond appeasing to the eye. The exhibit on Art Nouveau illustrated a new style of art that projects a feeling of revitalization and aesthetic beauty. Gaudi and Mucha have created works that will stand through history as some of the most awe-inspiring pieces. Impressionism, Symbolism, and Romanticism were also art styles introduced at the fair that are certainly going to be utilized by artists all over the world for many more years.  Monet's delicate sunrise illustrates a delicate allure while Delacroix's Liberty Leading the People still gives me an internal revolutionary feeling. Furthermore, the architecture of feats like the grandiose Eiffel Tower and the Palais du Champ-de-Mars have definitely helped us walk into a new age of structural design.
The World Fair has truly been the most influential moment of my life. I am now inspired to take up art, create inventions, and help all the amazing people at the fair help build the world of tomorrow.
