Kyler Blasing - World's Faire

When I went to the World Faire today, I was not expecting to learn about so much. Immediately when I walked into the Faire, two men walked up to me, and they were yelling "BLUE JEANS, BLUE JEANS!! You want this comfortable and sturdy pair of pants. Of course, I just kept walking, as I have never heard of these strange blue jeans before. However, just a few seconds later, I saw these men with two bottles of coca-cola. I was extremely thirsty from the hot day, so I decided to try it. It tasted alright, and I purchased a bottle. I asked what was in it, and they said, "Wine, cocaine, and caffeine." Right when I was about to respond, I heard a sizzling sound to my left. I walked over, and I saw a blue flame shooting straight up out of a metal contraption. I heard some whispers, and people were calling it a Bunson Burner. After all of this walking on a hot day, I needed some food. I found that at Justin and Jared's food booth. I had some oysters and this thing called popcorn, and I left by grabbing this sweet candy called cotton candy. It had a very strange texture, but it tasted great, so I grabbed some more. I wanted to finish my visit by finding something that could affect my life. I found not only one, but three things that I felt could really make a change in this world at Jared and Drake's invention booth. I found this new invention called a battery, which apparently was a large energy source, even though the battery itself was very small. Then, I found the telephone, which made it possible to communicate and talk to people from long distances. Finally, I saw a new invention called the X-Ray which allowed doctors to see your bones and organs to check for diseases and broken bones. I left the World Faire feeling good, as I knew in the future, the food will be better, the drinks will be better, and we will be able to talk to people from long distances. We are heading in a good direction.
