My Day at the World Faire

Dear Diary,

today I saw the inventions of many brilliant men at the World's Faire. Gaston Plante's invention was particularly interesting, something called a "rechargeable battery". Apparently, the battery stores energy within it, and can somehow be refilled with energy. Medicine has also drastically changed. Today, there is something known as an X-ray, which can somehow identify diseases early. A simply man like myself has no idea how it works, but surely it will greatly benefit mankind. At the faire, I was informed about improvements in surgical anesthesia. I just had a tooth pulled, and it hurt greatly, so I'm sure that innovations such as this will help. Technology does not really interest me as much as food though, and there was a ton of food from all around the world at the faire. I tried something called a hot dog, which originates from New York. The sausages within the buns are sublime! I also had a banana split, which is essentially ice cream with banana, and it sure satisfied my sweet tooth. Despite these great foods, the most astonishing was "cotton candy" for sure. It looked like a cloud, yet was very sweet. It was immensely popular, and I had to wait in a long line to try it, but boy was it worth. As for drinks, there was something called Coca Cola. The flavor was like nothing I have ever tried before. It has real cocaine it it, which is probably why it was so good! Today was a really great day, not only because I had delicious food, but I got to experience many different cultures.
