Day at the World Faire

Day 1:
Today I saw an exhibit on new medical advances and vaccines. It was very interesting but also somewhat scary. This exhibit gave me hope because it seems like these advances hold promise for stopping disease in the future, however, I am not completely convinced they will work. I am somewhat hesitant to put vaccines in my body, but if these scientists prove it works then I will be happy. Nonetheless, this was at least a very interesting exhibit that showed what would be possible in the future.

Day 2:
Today I learned about the bicycle, an exciting new invention! I look forward to the time when I myself can have a bicycle. In fact, I have even begun to see them around Paris. It has been interesting to see how bicycles have changed, even in the last 50 or so years, since they've been invented. This is no life changing invention, but it seems practical and fun to use a bicycle on a daily basis. This was a fun but informative display on the future of transportation.
