My DIary of World's Faire

Today at the faire I saw many exhibits. I saw exhibits on Art Nouveau, which is a style of art focused heavily on natural form. This style of art seems to encompass every aspect of life. I also saw a pen, which does not have to be dipped in ink to work. The pen uses something that the inventor called 'capillary action' which lets the ink flow out. Along with this, I saw an invention called the light bulb, which replaces candles, and is powered by electricity. One of these bulbs burns for around 2 months before needing a replacement. I also saw another invention called a bicycle, which offers a mode of transportation similar to that of riding a horse. After this, I saw a booth with an invention called jeans, which were heavy duty pants sold to miners. They are supposed to be extremely heavy duty. I also met a man named Alexander who had an invention that allowed you to communicate with your voice over reasonably long distances. One of the most amazing exhibits at the faire, however, was the Eiffel tower. This astonishing tower stood over all of France, and you could take a lift to the top of it. Finally, I saw exhibits on advancements that improve the reliability of vaccines and also the number of vaccine types available. This World's faire has surely shown me the progress we have made as people over the last century, and the progress we will continue to make.
